On September 11th, September 16th and October 14th,2025, our school held brief but solemn "Opening Ceremony of Teaching" for three young teachers, Shen Juan, Huang Hu and Gao Yongshuai, in L1203, L2202 and L4103 respectively, to witness and congratulate them on their first official appearance on the teaching platform. The Party and administrative members of the school and their course mentors attended the ceremony, which was presided over by Vice Dean Li Yuanyuan.

The college strictly controlled the first step of teaching. One year ago, it specially hired senior teachers with high moral standards, strong teaching skills and rich experience to "pass on, assist and guide". After a one-year "internship period", three teachers, Shen Juan, Huang Hu and Gao Yongshuai, passed the special assessment of teaching proficiency for new teachers of the school and achieved excellent results, and smoothly stepped onto the podium.

At the ceremony, Vice President Li Yuanyuan introduced the basic information and academic background of the new teaching staff to the students. A student representative presented flowers to express everyone's blessings and expectations for the new teachers. Li Yuanyuan encouraged the new teaching staff to vigorously carry forward the spirit of educators, keep in mind the fundamental task of fostering virtue and nurturing talents, devote themselves to teaching, and grow into the backbone of the college as soon as possible.

For every new teacher who steps onto the podium for the first time, the School of Optoelectronic Information and Energy Engineering and the School of Mathematics and Physics will hold a "first lecture ceremony" for them. Starting from the sense of pride in the teaching profession and the responsibility of cultivating virtue and nurturing talents, it clarifies the direction for the construction of teachers' ethics and style, and inspires teachers to be dedicated to their work and learning, creating an atmosphere of respecting teachers and valuing education. In the future, the school will further strengthen the guidance for newly recruited and young teachers, through mechanisms such as experienced teachers guiding new ones, to play the role of passing on experience and helping each other, enabling them to quickly familiarize themselves with educational laws and methods, and forge strong abilities and cultivate noble moral sentiments in the practice of nurturing people.
